TRIBE's Commitment to the GDPR

TRIBE is committed to compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) legislation coming into effect on May 25th 2018.

So, What is the GDPR?

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will replace the European Union’s 1995 Data Protection Directive and will regulate the processing of personal data within the European Union (EU). The GDPR will strengthen the protection of personal data privacy for EU resident. And any organisation found non-compliant will be fined as stipulated in the regulation. The regulation will apply to any organisation that operates in, or processes personal data from any individual residing in the European Union, regardless of whether the business has a physical presence in the EU itself.

How is TRIBE working to ensure compliance?

We want to ensure our users are comfortable with how we're using and storing their data, so we've made some steps to be as transparent as possible in the compliance process. A few of the steps we've taken include:

- Reviewing and updating our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

- Creating a timeline of responsibilities and action points to ensure GDPR compliance.

- Developing internal and external policies in regards to TRIBE's data privacy, protection and retention.

- We've made sure that you have full control of the data you share with us.

What do I need to do?

Please take the time to read our updated Privacy Policy and Terms of Service to understand how your data is used and protected by TRIBE.
